#1: You’ll develop independent research

At Johns Hopkins, research isn’t just for the sciences. Humanities students will find many opportunities to explore topics of their interest while working alongside faculty mentors. About two-thirds of all Johns Hopkins students conduct some form of research while they’re undergraduates here, and some get started in their freshman year.
